Action Tank Agenda & Team

Space is limited, applications will be reviewed through March 15, 2022.

The RECREATE Action Tank is a 6-month business and nonprofit building program. You'll take your dream from idea to launch with the right resources, tools and connections. No wasted time. No wasted money.
Pre-work Focus: Time Management

Time Management (60 minutes - Virtual) 3/19: This power-planning session will help set the foundation to support your successful completion of the Action Tank. You'll learn a powerful time management system along with techniques to make empowering decisions about your time, create boundaries, and be prepared to face the resistance you'll encounter when doing new things. You'll walk away with a new relationship to time and feeling energized to begin the journey ahead! Trisha Bright facilitates this session.

Month 1 Focus: Building the Plan, Legal Advice, Accountability Groups

Kickoff (4 Hours - Live) 4/15: High energy welcomes you to RECREATE Action Tank. Meet and bond in-person with the other women who will be on this journey with you. This evening will establish the container we will work within together -- establishing expectations. Expect deep connections, vulnerable conversations, and a kickstart to your dreams. You will leave tonight clear on your why, who you want to serve, and what impact you want to create in the world. We pair the Kickoff Event with some delicious food, an amazing venue, and some fun entertainment.

Launch Day (6 Hours - Live) 4/16: This in-person session follows the Kickoff Evening and is a full day jam packed with content and curriculum to help you get clear on what problem you are trying to solve in the world, your mission and value proposition, who you serve, and how the business or nonprofit is designed around it. You will be using the Build Your Business Blueprint (BYBB) as a roadmap to follow throughout the Action Tank. Courtney Klein teaches this session.

Legal Session (90 Minutes - Virtual) 4/30: This session is focused on all the things you need to know about setting up a legal entity, getting your paperwork in order, understanding how to protect your intellectual property (patents/trademarks), and avoiding common mistakes founders make in the early days of launching a venture. Michelle Gross will teach this session.

Accountability Groups (60 minutes - Virtual) 4/30: You will meet in your smaller pods that will hold you accountable to the action steps coming out of Launch Day. Melissa Lamson will facilitate these meetings.
